Wheel of Achievement: achievements that count on your character
Achievements, old quests, mounts and outfits grant points that you spend on real attributes.
The problem in regular Tibia
Tibia has years of accumulated content that nobody plays. An achievement is a line in a list; an old quest gives nothing worthwhile after a certain level; outfits and mounts are cosmetic. The map is full of finished, tested, good-looking content that players ignore because it does not affect the character at all.
How it works here
- Achievements, quests, mounts and outfits grant Achievement Points.
- You spend the points yourself on the Wheel of Achievement.
- The effects carry real weight on the character: experience, loot, PvP damage and critical hit chance and damage.
Why it was designed this way
Instead of creating new content, the Wheel gives a reason for the content that already exists. It is the cheapest and most effective intervention available: the map, the quests and the creatures have been finished and tested for years — all that was missing was a reason to visit them. And since the points are spent by the player, two characters with the same achievements can turn into different things.
