Club, Sword and Axe train together: the knight uses any weapon

Training one of the three melee weapons raises the other two along with it. The knight picks the weapon for the situation, not for the skill they grinded.

The problem in regular Tibia

In traditional Tibia, the knight has to choose ONE weapon line — Club, Sword or Axe — and spend a lifetime raising that skill alone. Choosing wrong, or wanting to switch later, means restarting a skill from scratch: months of training thrown away. The practical effect is that drops are split into "mine" and "useless": that extremely rare axe that dropped is worth nothing to someone who trained sword, and the best equipment in the game becomes trash because of a skill type. The knight's most basic decision — which weapon to use — stops being about the weapon and becomes about skill bureaucracy.

How it works here

  1. Training any of the three melee skills — Club, Sword or Axe — raises the other two at the same time.
  2. The gain goes to all three in the same proportion: every hit that would raise your weapon skill raises the other two just the same.
  3. Each skill advances along its own curve — if all three are at the same level, they go up identically.
  4. It applies to knight weapons (Club, Sword and Axe). Distance and Magic Level remain separate skills.

Why it was designed this way

The idea is to get out of the way a choice that was never fun. Separating Club, Sword and Axe creates no interesting decision at all for the knight — it only creates the fear of choosing wrong and the waste of training a skill that a better drop of another type makes obsolete. By unifying the training, the weapon goes back to being chosen for what matters: its attributes, the imbuement, the moment of the fight. Any melee weapon that drops on the floor is immediately yours, at your skill level, and the knight starts collecting weapons instead of praying for the drop to be of the right type.

Frequently asked questions

If I train Sword, do Axe and Club go up too?

They do. Training any of the three makes the other two go up along with it, in the same proportion — at the same time, on the same hit.

Does it apply to Distance and Magic Level too?

No. Shared training is only between the knight's three melee weapons: Club, Sword and Axe. Distance (paladin) and Magic Level (mage) remain separate.

An axe better than my sword dropped. Can I use it right away?

You can, at your current skill level, with no regrind. Since the three go up together, your axe skill keeps up with your sword skill — switching weapons does not cost months.
