World switch: Non-PvP, Open PvP and Hardcore on the same character
The same character moves between Non-PvP, Open PvP and Hardcore. Choosing a playstyle is no longer permanent.
The problem in regular Tibia
Choosing the world is the first decision Tibia asks for and the hardest one to undo. Whoever picks Non-PvP and later wants PvP starts over from scratch; whoever picks Hardcore and gets tired of the tension starts over from scratch. The consequence is that most players stay in the safest world and never try the rest of the game — not by preference, but because of the cost of switching.
How it works here
- The same character switches between Non-PvP, Open PvP and Hardcore.
- There is a cooldown of 15 minutes between switches.
- It is not a new character or a paid transfer: it is your character, with your level and your equipment.
Why it was designed this way
The choice of playstyle becomes a decision for the day, not for the life of the character. That unlocks something normal Tibia does not allow: using the same character to hunt in peace one night and go to war the next. The cooldown exists so that switching is a session decision, and not a way to escape a fight that has already started.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to create a character in each world?
No. The same character moves between the worlds, with the same level and the same equipment.
Can I switch worlds to run away from PvP?
The cooldown of 15 minutes between switches exists precisely so that switching is a session decision, not an emergency exit.
