Recording built into the client and publishable clips
The client records by itself. You publish the clip of the good moment right in the game.
The problem in regular Tibia
The good moment is never recorded. The PvP you won, the rare drop after hours, the play that worked out — it all happens without warning, and whoever does not leave a capture program running all the time misses it. Whoever does, pays in FPS and in disk space. The result is that almost nothing that happens on the server becomes content, and what does requires a second program and editing.
How it works here
- Recording built into the client, Tibia Cam style — no external program.
- The client records the gameplay continuously.
- You publish clips of the best moments right in the game.
Why it was designed this way
Recording from inside the client costs a fraction of what capturing the screen costs: the game already knows what happened, so it only has to store the events instead of millions of pixels. That makes continuous recording viable on any machine — and once everything is recorded by default, the player no longer has to predict when something interesting is going to happen.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need OBS or another program?
No. Recording is built into the Tibia 2 client.
Do I need to remember to start recording?
No. Recording is continuous — you pick the segment after the moment has happened.
