Floating slots: put equipment and action bar anywhere on the screen
Take an equipment slot or an action bar button out of the corner and stick it where you are looking — in the middle of the screen, next to the character — with adjustable transparency. The clone is live: clicking it uses the item or triggers the action.
The problem in regular Tibia
In the traditional client, the equipment slots and the action bars live in fixed panels on the side. You cannot move a single slot to the center of the screen or close to the character: the HUD is what the author of the client decided, not what your fight needs. In practice that costs reaction — in a fast fight you take your eyes off the action to find the ammunition in the corner, or the button for the key spell is far from where your eyes already are. The decision happens in a fraction of a second, but the interface forces you to look for it always in the same distant corner.
How it works here
- Right-click an equipment slot or an action bar button and choose “Create Floating Slot” — a floating copy is created.
- The copy is a live clone: it mirrors the real slot (item, cooldown, spell state) and clicking it uses the item or triggers the action, exactly like the original.
- Drag it to anywhere on the screen — in the middle, next to the character, where your eyes already are.
- Adjustable transparency per slot, so the clone sits on top of the game without hiding what is behind it.
- By default it is click-through: the click passes through to the game behind it. Only when you unlock it does it capture the click so it can be dragged and repositioned.
- The setup is saved per character — your HUD comes back the way you left it.
Why it was designed this way
The idea is for the HUD to follow your attention, and not the other way around. The real decisions in Tibia happen in the blink of an eye; if the button you need is in a corner, you lose the fight looking for it. By letting each slot float, the player builds the exact layout their style calls for — the ammunition right next to the character for the paladin, the key runes over the battle for the knight — without a rigid interface deciding for them. And since the clone is locked and transparent by default, the overlay never takes a click that belonged to the game: it sits there as a useful ornament until you want to use it.
Frequently asked questions
Is this a bot or a macro?
No. The floating slot is just a visual copy that forwards YOUR click to the real slot — it does nothing you would not do by clicking the original. It only changes WHERE the button is.
Does clicking the floating slot work the same as the real one?
The same. It uses the item, casts the spell and shows the cooldown, all mirrored live from the original slot — it is the same path as clicking the actual slot.
Does the clone get in the way of clicking the game behind it?
No, while locked it is click-through: the click passes through to the game. It only captures the click when you unlock it to drag and reposition.
Can I make it semi-transparent?
You can. Transparency is adjustable per slot, so you control how much the clone lets you see what is behind it.
Does it work for the action bar too, or only for equipment?
For both. Equipment slots and action bar buttons alike can become floating slots.
